Erin knew the kind of style dress she wanted but we played around with the silhouette and design details to have it suit her body perfectly. 

Erin came to me with her mum's wedding dress wanting to somehow incorporate the fabric into her own dress. The fabric was quite yellowed so I hand cut and stitched pieces of lace together to get the best possible outcome. We also created a 3D effect placing some of the flowers on top of each other and then added pearls on top which complimented the silk skirt beautifully.

Using existing dress fabric takes a lot of work, care and attention but it's so special to be able to include a personal element and make your wedding dress even more unique and special on your day.
