sarah + poppy
sarah + poppy
Not very often do I get the honour of creating not just one but two wedding dresses. Sarah and Poppy were a dream to work with. The wanted to keep their dresses secret from one another until their wedding day. While they both had unique styles they also complemented each other beautifully.

Poppy (right) wanted to incoporate her mums wedding dress - we decided on using the lace and matching it to this beautiful golden silk. Poppy's final design featured a fitted bodice with lace insert in the center front, full length fitted sleeve and back pleated detailing in the bodice. A full skirt for beautiful drape, a leg split which featured the foral lace peeking out and a sheer train insert featuring the same lace.
Sarah (left) knew the kind of style she wanted - she had been into bridal stores and tried on some dresses already. Sarah's final design was a fitted bodice with sheer sleeve and full skirt. We added layers of tulle underneath the skirt for fullness and volume. Sarah chose a delicate 3D floral lace which we used on the bodice and hanstitched individual flowers around the skirt hem for extra detail.
